The NH2A was established in 2022 with a mission to support the independent information sharing regarding natural hydrogen. It aims to be the first resource for individuals and corporations who seek information on the occurrence, exploration for and development of natural hydrogen in Australia.

Neil Mcdonald
Director / Chair
Neil McDonald is the Managing Director of Gold Hydrogen and has over 20 years of extensive commercial experience from greenfield exploration to early development. He has operated across multiple energy and minerals sectors in Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australia and has a strong legal grounding in commercial and regulatory compliance of the resources industry. Neil is a qualified Lawyer and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company directors with strong non-partisan relationships at the highest political levels at both Federal and State levels.
Kris Waddington

Dr Kris Waddington is an independent Director of the NH2A. He has experience across production, development and operational aspects of the resources industry. Kris has specific expertise integrating environmental and heritage aspects into project planning and operations, ensuring that on ground operations are executed with minimal impact on the environment and deliver benefits to local stakeholders and native title parties. Kris has an excellent understanding of the requirement and drivers of the transition to new, low carbon forms of energy.
MArSHALL HOOD
Director
Marshall Hood is Managing Director of Gehyra Flux Pty Ltd and is an Exploration advisor to Top End Energy Limited. He has 19 years of experience in the energy sector including Upstream Oil and Gas, Hydrogen & Helium. His previous roles included Chief Operating Officer for Nido Petroleum Limited, Asset Manager for Sacgasco Limited, and Senior Geophysicist for Ophir Energy Plc. He has subsurface, operational and commercial experience covering the full exploration and development cycle for upstream oil and gas including M&A, capital markets, joint venture and asset management.
Frank GLass

Frank Glass has been the working in the Petroleum and Energy Resources sector for over 34 years, exploring for major international and Australian operators across various global locations. He has been part of the growing industry exploring for natural hydrogen since 2001 and has been driving force behind the inception of the Natural Hydrogen Association of Australia (NH2A), a national organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for the natural hydrogen exploration and development sector in Australia.
